Guided Pathway Toward ECS Gold Card Eligibility (Not a Single Qualification).
This guided learning route is designed for individuals starting with little or no electrical experience who want to progress toward becoming a qualified electrician.
It sets out the qualifications and training typically completed at each stage on the pathway toward ECS Gold Card eligibility, with learners undertaking individual qualifications aligned to their chosen route. Flexible full-time and part-time study options allow progression at a pace that fits around existing work and personal commitments.
For full-time learners only, complimentary CPD such as Manual Handling, Asbestos Awareness, and Working at Heights may be provided to support site readiness. These are not required for ECS Gold Card eligibility.
(Work experience may be available for students with 95% attendance and 80% assessment success)
Check out our Experienced Worker Package (5+ years of experience) for a quicker route to qualification.
Note: We do not deliver AM2 / AM2E / AM2ED exams.
*Inspection and Testing (2391-52) exam is taken after completion of the NVQ portfolio.
This route outlines the training route commonly followed by learners working towards ECS Gold Card eligibility.
It is a guided pathway and signposting page, not a single combined qualification. Learners enrol onto individual qualifications following consultation, based on experience and the appropriate route.
