This is assessment-based — no classroom, no exams. Your everyday work becomes your evidence.
You build a portfolio of evidence from your everyday work. This includes photographs, certificates, job sheets, and technical reports that demonstrate your competence.
A qualified assessor visits your workplace to observe and verify your on-site competence. Site visits are included for workplaces within 15 miles of our location. A supplementary travel fee applies for visits beyond this distance — contact us for details.
This course covers 6 core units over rolling enrolment — 6–18 months (work-based).
Planning and managing electrical installations in dwellings.
Installing containment, wiring systems, and consumer units in domestic environments.
Applying safe working practices and relevant legislation.
Inspecting, testing, and commissioning domestic installations.
Diagnosing and repairing faults in domestic electrical systems.
Completing EICs, minor works, and other documentation.
