Is this only for domestic work?+

Yes. The 2347-03 covers domestic electrical installations only. If you also do commercial work, you may need the 2346 or 2357 NVQ instead.

Do I need 3 or 5 years experience?+

The domestic installer route requires a minimum of 3 years verifiable domestic electrical experience, unlike the 2346 which requires 5+ years.

Are assessor site visits included?+

Yes. Your NVQ assessment includes site visits from a qualified assessor who will observe you at your workplace. Travel is included for workplaces within 15 miles of our location. For sites further afield, a supplementary travel charge applies. Contact us and we'll confirm any additional costs before you enrol.

What Gold Card does this lead to?+

Upon completing the NVQ, you can book the AM2ED assessment separately through an external provider and then apply for the ECS Domestic Installer Gold Card.

What are the entry requirements?+

Minimum 3 years verifiable domestic electrical experience. Must hold Level 2 Diploma, current 18th Edition, and valid Inspection & Testing qualification.

What qualification will I receive?+
