Yes. The 2391-50 course prepares you for Electrical Installation Certificates (EICs), Minor Works Certificates, schedules of inspections and schedules of test results for new electrical installations. It does not cover full periodic inspection and EICR work on its own.
The 2391-50 route includes a written theory paper and a practical Initial Verification assessment. The classroom days prepare you for the theory stage, then you complete a full practical assessment day in centre using the test rig.
Choose 2391-50 if you only need Initial Verification for new installations, such as new builds, rewires or new circuits. Choose 2391-52 if you also need Periodic Inspection, EICR work and wider inspection and testing competence. The combined 2391-52 route is usually the better option for electricians who want both areas covered.
