What BS 7671 Covers

The Amendments

The Qualification
The City & Guilds 2382-22 is the industry-standard examination. The two-hour exam tests understanding of the regulations across all amendments. A current certificate is required for Gold Card eligibility and most employment.

Amendment 4 is anticipated around 2026, likely addressing battery storage, Power over Ethernet, and expanded AFDD requirements. The 19th Edition is expected around 2028.
