Who is it for?
Our Level 2 Electrotechnical Craft Diploma is for those who have completed our Professional Course and has embarked on the route to complete their Level 3 qualification, an NVQ Occupational Assessment and then on to AM2 to become a qualified electrician.
It is for anyone aged 18 and above regardless of their experience however LTS suggests that you complete our Professional Course as this is necessary to proceed to an AM2 assessment. Also we suggest candidates to complete our Professional Course in order to be able to do electric work and start earning money and be able to financially sustain further studies/
Ideally, candidates will have basic maths and English GCSE grades.
You may then further your studies to Level 3 and then complete your NVQ Occupational Assessment.
Mainly theory with practical workshops

Practical Exams 1 x Final Practical Exam

Candidates who enrol on the Level 2 Diploma will be able to:
Work as an Improver / Electrician’s Mate within the electrotechnical settings. You will build your electrical theoretical knowledge and practical skills for the real world.
At the end of the course you may wish to carry on your studies by discussing with your course manager what options you have. You will have the option to pay an extra fee to upgrade to another course package.
