Individuals partaking in the course will go through an introductory 9 days of lessons designed to equip you with the knowledge and practical skills to be compliant in Part P of the building regulations and be awarded the LCL Domestic Electrical Installer Certificate. With this introductory course you will be able to carry on to study our other courses.
Who Is It For?
This electrical course is for individuals who want to be a Part P registered domestic electrical installer in order to carry out kitchen fitting, plumbing, heating engineering or building and needs to engage in some electrical work as part of their job, such as, installing power to a boiler, shower or cooker.
To succeed, you need to have an understanding of Part P and 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and will need to study and achieve these two qualifications for you to register as a Part P Installer through the Competent Persons Scheme.

The LCL Domestic Electrical Installer (Part P) course, alongside the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, can provide electricians with the practical skills, relevant knowledge and competence to undertake, kitchen fitting, plumbing, heating engineering or building and needs to engage in some electrical work as part of their job, such as, installing power to a boiler, shower or cooker.
At the end of the LCL Domestic Electrical Installer Course you may wish to carry on your studies by discussing with your course manager what options you have. You will have the option to pay an extra fee to upgrade to another course package.
